This evening saw the drawing of the fixtures for the 2015/16 Superleague season. Marko Silva, as well as starting to get used to the players he has within his squad, will now be able to see his season starting to take shape.

The 2015/16 seasons sees the number of participating teams in the league reduce from 18 to 16. Therefore there will only be 30 matchdays this season. The season kicks off at home against Panionios and will end mid-April, also at home, to Kalloni.

The first derby of eternal enemies will not take place until the winter, when the Red & Whites travel to the Apostolos Nikolaidis Stadium to take on Panathinaikos. This eagerly awaited clash will take place on the weekend of 21st November, with the reverse fixture taking place at the Karaiskakis two weeks before Easter on 12th March. Following the November clash we will be in Champions League action with our penultimate group game, so it will be an exciting few days for the Thrylos fans.

The beginning of October looks set to be one of the most testing periods of the season. A trip to Toumba, to take on our fierce second city rivals, and a home clash against AEK are sandwiched between rounds 3 & 4 of the Champions League. AEK make a return to the Superleague this season following a two year absence. We travel across Athens to the Olympic Stadium on the weekend of 13th February for the return fixture.
