With the Champions League playoff round reaching a dramatic finale this evening all 32 teams competing in this season’s Group Stage are now known.

With no Milan sides competing for another season in the competition, the city will play its part in the competition with the final taking place at the San Siro on 28th May. Group stage matchday one takes place across 15th & 16th September with the final round of group stage games taking place on the 8th & 9th December. All 32 teams will hope to still be in the competition going into 2016 as they all embark on their individual quest of reaching Milan.

Before any sides can start dreaming of their progression through the knockout stages they must first learn who they will be drawn against in the group stage. This year’s group stage draw is set to take place tomorrow in Monaco.

Olympiakos find themselves in seeding pot 3 with the likes of Roma, Lyon and Galatasaray. In being seeded in only the third point avoiding any true giants is highly unlikely. With the likes of Real Madrid, Arsenal and Atletico in pot 2 there is a very high possibility of being unlucky enough to have the tough task of toppling two European power houses in our group, as we did last season with Atleti & Juve.
